Vegetarianism- day ...I dunno, 'bout 3 weeks? Sunday, February 22, 2009

I want meat T_T.
I've extended my vegetarianism to include fish and seafood, cause DAMN I need the protein.
Can you believe that a year or two after we graduate, SAT II's won't be required to get into UC's? Geez, that would make life so much easier.
I don't understand why people made it so hard to get into college these days. Ya know, if our parents had to do all the shit we do now; dozens of AP classes, hoards of extra curriculars, what not; I think they would fold. What happened to the days where you wanted to do something; so you poured yourself into that area? Engineer types would take the math and science classes, business types would take marketing and econ, and it goes from there! Nowadays, I mean, why should we have to prove ourselves to a bunch of over-the-hill septugenarians when they would crumble under our class loads? It's not like THEY could have taken AP stat, Honors Physics, APES, a foreign language, and all the other things that fill our days.
Ridiculous.

First week of the Semester Sunday, February 1, 2009

So, I'm feeling a lot better about this semester. I realize now that I could sleep so late (1-3 ish) every day and wake up alright because well, I didn't do my homework! You're probably thinking "What the hell....if you didn't do your homework, you'd be failing, literally FAILING everything." Yeah, you're right. I didn't do ALL of it. Burnette's US history class is a JOKE. I used to do all my homework in his class. It's basically an hour and a half of NOTHING. He puts on a movie and we just chill. I get my work done in there, but I guess I don't absorb it well enough or something.
Now, I've been doing all my homework 'soon as I get back from the hellhole. Ya know what, I haven't gone to sleep past 3 all week. I'm doing better in all my classes, I'm more focused, and I don't feel like shit anymore. Hmmm...........XD
Welll, I don't ENTIRELY not feel like shit anymore, I still kinda do. Lookin in the mirror, I'm usually like ick......Sooo, I have vowed to go vegetarian for the next 6 months. I don't want to be like, zomfg no meat ever keep it away roar. Butttt, instead, I'll eat vegetarian as much as I can, though, if prompted to go out to dinner with family or something, I'm not gonna order a friggin vegetarian dish (cause those always SUCK). This should help me drop my weight back down. I also vow to go running on the weekends. Hopefully someone will join me?

ANYWAYS, that aside. Today kicked ass XD. I got up today feeling like I wanted to spend the entire day in bed. That changed when Bryan let me know that his crew duty thing for Into The Woods started later than it was supposed to. We hung out and skated! I can pull an ollie off about 75% of the time now (when prompted) and can skate off curbs. I hope to accomplish a moving ollie sometime within the next month. Freddie (my longboard) has been injured T_T. His tail has had a bit of a....split. I must fix this as soon as I can and clean out his trucks as well. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow.......
Hmm...well, I'm gonna get back to my House episodes.

Later XD

Japanese is fun Sunday, January 18, 2009

Well, maybe japanese itself isn't that fun, but studying for it is.
I LOVE studying japanese with stephanie cause we always have a great time. In fact, we can only do it once a year or else we would reach this asymptote of infinite fun-ness and the world would implode on itself.
I woke up this morning groggy. Dragged my ass over to my grandparents' house and did some gardening. Scoreeeee, cash =D
Did some history while waiting for the Stephler to show up. She came and we started up on the packet we had.
About halfway through, we both got a little hungry, so we made a trip to mickey d's. Fast food is ALWAYS better with friends after a long study session. =D
we talked helllllla, studied, then talked more!
It's great to catch up, since we don't talk as much as we used to. =(
Tomorrow's agenda- PHYSICS, ALL DAY
JUST LOTS OF PHYSICS
and yes, I actually mean the subject

My day off Saturday, January 17, 2009

Holy hellllll
today was pretty awesome XD
Bryan and I skated from the library to Taco Bell. We ran into Rosie in her car partway, so we raced. We won =D
Mmm....steak quesadilla.....yum
after that we went to check on Michelle at Starbucks, but...she..got off early, so we just chilled out front with some coffee playing this AWESOME game.
You take two people with iPods and set em on shuffle.
Go through the songs in pairs and see which one is more awesome out of your two iPods.
They "win". Keep shuffling, that's the game. NOW GO! IT'S FUN!
Anyways, Freddie n Michelle showed up later, she tried standing on Bryan's board...ended up bruising my shin....punk....
Hung around in front of Walgreens, then we were picked up and taken back to Bryan's.
There, we skated around and tried some tricks. AND HELL YES, I CAN OLLIE NOW. WOOOOO
I've been contemplating the pros and cons to longboards and skateboards
I believed before that longboards went wayyy faster than skateboards, and although this is true downhill, I could keep up with Bryan on a mediocre skateboard while he was on his Arbor longboard. (flat ground, abc music - - - > village)
Longboards are more stable? I dunno, I needed more stabalization, but I got through all the cracks and stuff alright. A downside to going smoother and faster on a longboard is.....well...when you're suddenly stopped with an especially large crack, you FLY. >_<
Also, obviously, a skateboard is smaller. It's louder though..CRCK RCK CKKK CKKKCKKCKKC when you're riding, bleh....
OO also, going down a hill on a skateboard (we call this bombing a hill btw), you reach a terminal velocity, you can't go any faster than a certain speed. The best part is, at this point, I can still safely jump off or slow myself down. I like this. Longboards go and go and go and go, you can top out at around 50 mph down certain hills. ...Yeah that's just bad....
Anyways, yes, that was my day off.....tomorrow begins my finals cramming sessions.
Good luck on your finals everyone!
WE CAN DO IT!
2010!!! WOOOOOO

Winter, Number one Thursday, January 15, 2009

Long nights, hidden sun
bitter nights, blistering mornings
days shift violently
rude awakenings
late to sleep, wake before dawn
unrested, gaunt and all
six am, feels like three
drift to school, oh woe is me
the lack of heat, lack of light
I hate this negative bright
dragging myself, soul in my bed
my god, I must be dead
bags under eyes, lack of sun
grueling winter, number one

1/4 of a poem I wrote for hamlit
what do you think?

ridiculous Wednesday, January 7, 2009

Everyone keeps taking the names that I want. It took me 30 minutes to name this damn blog! Rawr, but, I miss blogging. People used to do it so much! What happened? It was a fantastic way to keep tabs on everyone. And hell, it helped. People usually post if they broke up with someone or what not so the next day you don't go "HEYY WHERE'S YOUR BOYFRIEND?"after a crappy split between the two. Yes, I've actually done that, ALL BAD. I should probably get to sleep soon..but I realized why I can stay up and not feel tired. I randomly fall asleep from like...6-9 after eating dinner almost every day now. That extra 3 hours..enables me to stay up an extra 3? I dunno, but I feel fine now and I usually feel fine the next day.
Chances are, there's gonna be like......2 people reading this, sarah? zella? prolly it?
Hopefully more, anyways, I have to keep brainstorming. My project ideas are falling through and it's due FRIDAY.
G'night world.
